    This a cozy romance story set in the new town of Blackthorn Valley a town for Witches and Monsters, but not Trolls or Orcs.

    The founding members of Blackthorn Valley give off Charmed or Witches of EastWick vibes. Each member has a different power and is a different type of monster with the exception of one human. Shhhhhhhh!

    They accidentally call a shifter, a Werewolf named Guy to their new town. He not only brings his whole pack, but he also finds his mate there.

    There is some eggplanting, but it’s more along the lines of romantisy smut and happens towards the endish of the book.

    There is a small battle, but it’s more of a coupke fires and a few fights with Trolls and Orcs. Nothing these witches and werewolfs can’t handle.

    There is one Gargoyle who eventually works security for the town and there’s even a ghost who came with the town. There’s something shifty going on with the Library, but we’re not sure what yet.

    Guess we need to see what happens in book two

    Sheety Stationary the store, really stole my breath away ❤ it’s a store that is alive. I love when it just gets up and walks around. Oh Sheety *swoon*

    This is an alien romance...well, it’s a thruple romance. There is breeding and there is eventually going to be a child. It’s part of the breeding.

    However, I learned these are different aliens from The Close Encounter of the Ghostlight Falls kind. These ones drove into town as opposed to crash landing into town.

    Tillie is the FMC and she is a hot mess. Her life has just kind of blown up on her and she could really use some help. So glad she found her well dressed and put together aliens to help her.

    We again get to meet new people of Ghostlight Falls and we get to see Mappy who seems like a nice guy who flirts with everyone and does pushups on the steps of the visitor center. Seems fine.

    Oh yeah, there’s lots of breeding, but don’t worry no babies. Just a lot of milk, if you know what we mean

    There is also a cat and then a new animal companion that’s a lupig…I think it’s called Charlie…I don’t remember. Too much milk.

    There’s also fighting with a goatman who is also the fire department so not sure if they’ll get saved in the future.

    I think we call this a MMFMFF, but there’s only four of them so you get it! 

    I don’t know if there is any relation to the American animated series Anamaniacs!, but they look like the grown up version of them. 

    They kind of have the same bond except they all bang each other and nurse Rebecca. 

    It turns out they’re part of an experiment and they escape. It’s giving animal liberation

    In order to stay hidden they need to perform some spell with a demon blooded human. Thank the stars they found Rebecca or I guess banged Rebecca. That’s what you need to do to enact the protection spell thing. 

    Anyways, I need to find me a nurse Rebecca. Also, it seems each one has a speciality for nurse Rebecca 😉

    It’s also a fated bond/mates story with mind speaking. Kind of like romantasy, but 100% monster smut with those double dongs

    It’s a well written story you should all read and I am still trying to figure out which part of the sphinx is Scottish.

    You don’t have to know anything about Critical Role to read this book. However, if you do then I am curious to know if you thought the smut should’ve been more over the top?

    If you don’t know what Critical Role is then you don’t need to know anything about D&D to read the book either. 

    Oh yeah, there’s eggplanting, but it’s like a middle of beginner and middle…so a middle of a middle.

    You’re on The Amber Road most of the time. It’s like nothing but a walking story…similar to how Lord of the Rings is a walking story, but they bone in this one. 

    FMC learns to be her true self thanks to Oskar and the magic inside of her

    MMC cries and it’s like so hot. He needed to cry more. We needed a whole chapter to this half-orc crying please ❤

    Honestly, I need to be walked on this Amber Road. Let a Lindwyrm know when you go.

    My favorite scene is Dullahan Dan in his all black latex suit costume playing D&D with Rafe and his friends. The squeaking noise was my favorite part. 

    I wonder what it would be like to have a head that separates from your body. Imagine all the things I could do…

    I kind of want to start dressing like a cowboy now with extra short shorts! I am sensing a cowboy theme with this series…

    Rafe is a butt virgin so if you like that trope, this is the book for you.
