    Who doesn’t like a sentient object romance?! We fucking love them ❤ 

    With this story you not only have sentient object romances, but now a hockey romance as well *big eyes* WHAT?!

    This was our first hockey romance, and we might be sports romance girlies now. Let’s be clear, it’s like a *wink* *wink* sports romance. They maybe play hockey like twice in the book max LOL.

    The story is mostly focused on the sentient romance part, which again, we love.

    This is also a college romance, so the hockey is college hockey and not like the big leagues, whatever that’s called NHL?

    Alright, Iris is the FMC and she’s like, got the She’s All That, nerdy girl vibe going. Think alt girl. She seems to be friends with like, the hot girls or like, the cool girls. Not really sure how to describe Cora other than she’s a literal witch *big eyes* 

    Iris is coming out of a very toxic maybe even borderline abusive relationship with a football player maybe. We actually see some of this in the story. We don’t see see it, but we come pretty close, so keep that in mind as a potential trigger warning. Like, we see maybe why Iris might be why she is regarding her body and sexual partners. 

    Lachlan is a hockey player and he is one of five, yeah, five hockey players who gets turned into vibrators. Yup! That’s their fate LOLs.

    From book one we learn that Cora, who works at an adult toy store has been handing out these sentient vibrators to people. Almost in a kind of match maker type setting. Yeah, not sure how we feel about Cora. She’s kind of a lot…I wonder if she’ll get her own book. 

    This is a HEA story which means Lachlan and Iris figure themselves out, but there is soooo much drama before they get there. I mean, remember they are college kids, wich we are both glad we are not college kids, but also damn! College kids have dramatic lives that also seem fun. 

    Oh, not sure if this needs to be said, but this is a smut book so there is boinking in all forms. 

    This is book one, so go read it so you can read book two when it comes out.

    Welcome to sentient object romances! One of Groan’s favorite genres.

    It is not necessary that you know the Kyleverse before reading Bitten, though it is helpful to have read Faulty beforehand, but again not necessary.

    We do suggest you read all of Nicole Parker’s works, especially if you are into sentient objects and a whole lot of smut *tongue out*

    In bitten we have a Labubu type of character called Bulala. She was made and magic as all things are, duh! However, she gets missed placed and so begins her journey into violence and sex. LOLs we kid…maybe.

    In this story two toys fight and given Bulala’s dispotions to violence and lust it turns into a rough play. If you know what we mean, between two toys that are sentient. Eventually they are joined by a human girl and then of course Kyle needs to show up for it to be complete.

    Man, we love Kyle *swoon* anyways, they all figure out what’s going on and Bulala will no longer be angry and now has her own place/room and doesn’t seem so violent anymore.

    Now, what’s going to happen with Bulala and Furbo we do not know, but hope there is a book two to their raging love. LOLs.

    Hurry and listen to this book like we did. It has wonderful quotes, like the one above, and will also have you giggling and rooting for the bad guys to lose.

    This is a sapphic story (F/F) with beginner level spice. If you’re new to sapphic stories or new to having smut in your stories this is a great introduction to both.

    However, if you’re a seasoned smut reader this is just a regular book for you. You’ll enjoy the characters and the story *giggle*

    The story takes inspiration from Little Shop pf Horrors, but is not the story we know. It’s its own story with heart, humor, and light murder.

    Quickly without giving away too much, it’s about a witch who has a shop and maybe magicked a little too much a Venus Fly Trap. Then there’s another FMC who is well connected politically and maybe a little on the wealthy side, but hates her life and his miserable. Her family hates her.

    The two of them figure out their love for each other, figure out themselves, do a light murder, and ride off into the sunset together.

    Go listen to it like we did because the voice actors are fantastic!

    The story follows a college age witch who it seems no one has really trained. She’s assumed to be “bad” at magic. She get’s accepted to a witch-like college where she accidentally enchants a broom

    So obviously this only works with enchanted brooms. Must find a witch now to enchant my broom.

    This is F/F story as the broom identifies as female. Smut scenes are steamy and the broom really knows what it’s doing *smirk*

    We’ve been calling it the “smutty pagemaster” story. Obviously the MMC is a book so you can see where we were going there. However, it turns out the spine is not where the face is and has other purposes * wink*

    The story centers on a teacher in Ghostlight Falls and the school there. We learn there is a ghost receptionist at the school, which makes sense.

    There are also a lot of puns and 90’s references and you’ll need to read the story to find out why.

    We learned there may be other uses for ribbon books marks and that you can in fact fly on a book.

    There is a mystery that needs to be solved and it kind of is. We obviously need there to be a book two to answer some of the other question that arise.

    Sheety Stationary the store, really stole my breath away ❤ it’s a store that is alive. I love when it just gets up and walks around. Oh Sheety *swoon*

    This is an alien romance...well, it’s a thruple romance. There is breeding and there is eventually going to be a child. It’s part of the breeding.

    However, I learned these are different aliens from The Close Encounter of the Ghostlight Falls kind. These ones drove into town as opposed to crash landing into town.

    Tillie is the FMC and she is a hot mess. Her life has just kind of blown up on her and she could really use some help. So glad she found her well dressed and put together aliens to help her.

    We again get to meet new people of Ghostlight Falls and we get to see Mappy who seems like a nice guy who flirts with everyone and does pushups on the steps of the visitor center. Seems fine.
